Ashley George went 3 for 4 and had a three-run homer in the third, while Sam Rivers was 2 for 3 with a two-run homer in the homer in the first and Lauren Tuiskula scattered four hits and struck out 10 to lead the host Wolverines (3-0, 3-0 SWCL). Freshman Ali Croyley and Meg Steiger (three runs) were both 3 for 4 for Leicester. Madison Messier was 2 for 4 for the Cougars 1-2 (1-2).
