Scott Tupper, Cam Ruziak and Sam Stratton had two hits each to power the visiting Mountaineers past the Highlanders in the season-opener for both teams. C.J. Doskocil got the win, while Doherty's Mike Vinik had two hits and Noah Robinson had a single and a double.
