Wilmington 6, Melrose 5

Heading into the bottom of the sixth inning trailing 5-3, the Wildcats were able to score three runs with two outs. Cassie Grasso walked, Kim Woods singled and then Alliy Gemallaro hit a two-run double, then scored the winning run on a passed ball. Wilmington has dedicated this season in the memory of officer Sean Collier. They wore decals on their helmets for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing and black armbands for the officer.
