Sophomore Maddy Parmeter struck out nine and pitched a four-hitter, while pitched out of a jam in the sixth to help the No. 4 Aztecs (18-4) knock down the No. 1 Blue Devils (19-3) to advance to the Division 3 final for the second straight season. Assabet will face the winner of Wednesday's game between Hopedale and Quaboag on Saturday at a time to be determined at Worcester State. After Jessa Pereira doubled home a run for Murdock and advanced to third on a throw with outs in the sixth, Parmeter incuced two infield pop-ups and a flyout to center to end the inning.
