Junior quarterback Jack Campanale found senior wideout Kris Swedberg from 18 yards out as time expired to give the host Colonials the win. Campanale was 4 for 5 for 76 yards during the winning drive that started at their own 29 yard line with 39.3 seconds remaining. Nick Diliberto, who went over 1,000 yards for the season, scored on a 5-yard run early in the fourth quarter to bring Shrewsbury even. Swedberg made it 15-14 with his extra point kick. Cam Ruziak had given the Mountaineers a 20-15 lead with 44 seconds left with a 1-yard plunge. Ruziak, Wachusett's Offensive MVP, also scored on a 37-yard run in the second quarter for a 14-0 lead. Brandon Miller, the Mountaineer's Defensive MVP, was solid on offense from his fullback position with 111 yards rushing on 15 attempts.
