Sophomore running back Francis Konneh rushed eight times for 177 yards and three touchdowns as the host Eagles (2-0, 2-0 Colonial) rolled past the Cougars (0-2, 0-2). Konneh rushed for scores of 27, 22 and 85 yards and added a two-point conversion as Worcester Tech took a 30-6 halftime lead. Justin Martin caught a 47-yard pass from Ben Strauss (3 for 3, 50 yards) and Kyle Welch recovered a fumbled kickoff for another Eagles' score. Zakk Hoffner (3 carries, 50 yards) had a 17-yard touchdown run for Worcester Tech to cap the scoring. Tony Lemay had four carries for 36 yards and a two-point conversion, while senior defensive tackle Lucas Saunders had five unassisted tackles and three sacks for the Eagles. Steven Tabor led Quaboag's rushing attack and scored a 1-yard touchdown in the first quarter.
