The Warriors drove down to the Tigers' 5-yard line with 35 seconds left in the game, but Maynard's Alex Martinec forced a fumble and Preston Wilkey (9 tackles) recovered to seal the win for the Tigers (3-0, 2-0 Mid-Wach D). Maynard was without injured star running back Sean Peterson, but his younger brother Stephen stepped up and rushed eight times for 66 yards and a 4-yard touchdown, while quarterback Zach Boerman completed 3 of 5 passes for 149 yards and 58-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Jacobson. Jonathan Lashua scored on a 1-yard rush for Narragansett (1-2, 0-2), while teammate Kyler Clancy added a 1-yard touchdown in the third quarter.
