Danielle Schiloski scored the winner with 14 minutes left to lift the host Warriors over Scarlet Hawks in the season-opener for both teams. Nipmuc's Maddie Davidshofer also scored, and Lauren Guertin scored for Milford. Sarah Jacques made three saves in the win.
