LUNENBURG � On a wintery night suited for ice fishing, at least one area fall tradition was alive and well. The Sutton High boys� soccer team, one of the area�s true high school sports dynasties, made what has become its annual trip to a state semifinal game, and again made it count. The Sammies, three-time defending Central Mass. champions and two-time defending state champions, defeated Western Mass. champion Hopkins Academy, 2-0, in a Division 4 state semifinal at Lunenburg High. Sutton (18-0-4) will face Eastern Mass. champion Cohasset at 12:30 Saturday at Worcester State for the state title. Hopkins Academy finished (16-2-1).
