Kelly Poole scored 14 points and Cecilia Burke added 10 to lead the visiting Chieftains (1-0) past the Tomahawks (1-1). Amanda Murphy led Algonquin with 18 points, while Nikkiah Snoddy added nine for Nashoba, which broke open a 25-25 halftime tie.
