Senior Dan McNamara and junior linemates Ryan McCarthy and Josh Miller combined for four goals and eight assists to lead the host Patriots (3-1) to a shutout win over the Tigers (2-2) at Wallace Civic Center. McNamara (two goals, two assists) netted the winner at 2:34 of the first period, then made it 3-0 with five seconds left in the second period. Miller and McCarthy each had a goal and three assists, with Miller scoring at 9:34 and McCarthy capping the scoring at 12:43 of the final period. Senior P.J. Dupre added an unassisted goal at 8:51 of the final period, while goalie Ryan Twomey made 12 saves in the shutout.
