Sophomore Brad Colvin and junior Hunter Boudreau each had a goal and assist and sophomore Matt LeBlanc added two assists as the Chieftains (1-1-1, 1-1 Coughlin) prevailed at the New England Sports Center. Tim Swenson turned back 50 shots for Gardner (0-4, 0-2), and teammate Nate Maillet scored in the second period.
