Evan Lockwood nearly stole the game for Auburn (0-8), making 51 saves, while his teammates mustered only four shots on counterpart Andrew Carter. Cam Callahan gave Auburn a 1-0 lead with a goal in the first period, while Andrew Iacaboni had a goal and assist for Wachusett (7-1-2).
