Juniors Kevin Gilchrest and P.J. Anastas each scored twice and goalie Devyn Levesque made 29 saves as the host Chieftains (5-7-3) rebounded from a tough stretch (0-5-1) with an offensive outburst at the New England Sports Center. The six goals matched a season high and featured the third penalty shot of the season for Nashoba, this one converted by Gilchrest just 31 seconds into the game. Anastas made it 2-0 with a strong rush at the end of the second period, beating a defenseman and burying a shot just under the crossbar. Brandon Hennessy and Anastas put the game away with two goals in the opening minute of the third period, with Mike Magliozzi making it 5-0 at 6:16. Keenan Quinama got the Rams (6-9-2) on the board at 7:58, with Gilchrest capping the scoring at 12:29. Bobby Denaro and Steve Lengieza both recorded two assists.
