Dan Quinlivan scored at 9:21 of the third period to pull the Colonials into a 2-2 tie with crosstown rival St. John's at the Hart Center in Worcester. Chris Stalmok and Kevin Quinlivan scored for the Pioneers, with Stalmok giving St. John's a 1-0 lead at 9:33 of the opening period and Quinlivan breaking a 1-1 tie at 3:39 of the third period. Shrewsbury's Joe Buduo tied the game at 13:16 of the second period - Matt Dillon assisted on both of the Colonials' goals.
