Freshman Nick Pennucci scored a hat trick and added an assist, while classmate Nathan Pickett earned his first shutout to lead the host Guardians (1-5) past the Bernardians (0-2) at the Hart Center. Daniel Blute had two goals and an assist for St. Peter-Marian, while Michael Baldasarre had two assists.
