Jared Buckley (10 points) hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key at the buzzer, giving the host Pirates (7-9, 6-7 SWCL) a comeback victory over the Rockets (10-6, 7-4). Trailing by eight with 2-1/2 minutes left, Oxford went into a press, forced turnovers and tied the game with a minute remaining, with Shaun McCarthy scoring all eight points on two baskets and four free throws. D.J. Scavone paced Auburn with 19 points.
