Sophomore guard Anthony Pearson had 14 points, 10 deflections and led a suffocating press for the host Eagles (1-3, 1-1 Colonial), who opened up a 20-point halftime lead. Junior forward Scott Leveillee also had 14 points and sophomore point guard Jose Laporte added 11. Point guard Yonuel Romero led the Broncos (1-4, 0-3) with 17 points, 13 of them in the second half, and Sean Mespelli had 10.
