Sophomore Joe Perry snapped a 31-31 tie with a jumper inside the arc to put the No. 7 Sammies (10-0, 5-0 Dual Valley) on top for good with 3:24 left over the upset-minded Cursaders (5-4, 2-3) in Sutton. Senior Gordy Smythe scored all 13 of his points in the second half to pace the Sammies, who also qualified for the postseason with the win. Richard Santos paced the Crusaders with 11 points.
