Izzy Russell (18 points) hit a layup with 10 seconds left, sending the visiting Eagles (18-1) past the Crusaders (6-13). Whitinsville Christian, which had trailed throughout, tied it at 51 with about three minuters left as Sarah Poquette (20 points) scored on pass from Morgan VanderBaan (11). Russell made one of two foul shots with 90 seconds to go but Poquette scored on another layup with 30 seconds left, giving the Crusaders a 53-52 lead.
