Abigail Sawyer and Alex Van Loon scored 12 points each to lead a balanced attack for the visiting Spartans (11-9), with Courtney Pepin and Gina Petrillo chipping in 10 points apiece and Missy Morton adding 9 points. Jenaliz McAvey scored a game-high 13 points for the Colonels (3-17), while senior guard Jackie Lapierre wrapped up her high school career with 10 points and four steals. Freshman center Sarah Vaness posted a double-double with 12 rebounds and 11 blocks for South.
