Senior Tia Joubert hit a foul shot at the end of the first half to make her the first girl in Assabet history to score 1,000 career points during a home win for the Aztecs (15-1, 14-1 Colonial). Joubert, who has been playing with a torn ACL since the first game of the season, finished with nine points, giving her 1,003 for her career. Alyssa LaMarch had 19 points and Immaculate Nyiagoti 15 for Assabet. Katherine Surrette and Mary Bacilu each scored 12 points for the Cougars (8-8, 7-7).
