Junior Jared Ward earned his first varsity win and shutout, and classmate Stephen Falvey scored two goals, including an empty-netter, as the Rangers (1-1) defeated the Panthers (0-2) in the consolation game of the Boros Cup at North Star Youth Forum. Scott Erickson's shorthanded goal at 6:26 of the second period gave Westboro a 2-0 lead, while Ward and the Rangers' defense -- led by Dylan Kehoe -- made it stand up.
