Defensemen Derek Benson, Matt Legge, and Mike Cohen all scored as the Skippers (10-3-0) became the first team in Division 3 to clinch a tournament berth. Sophomore goalie Liam McHugh earned his third shutout of the season, stopping 12 shots. Junior Curtis Golden and senior Terence Doonan also scored.
