The Tomahawks (11-0) swept the events and set a pair of school records in a win over Worcester (2-6) at the Worcester JCC. Junior Dorian McMenemy won the 200 freestyle (1:56.81), breaking a school record set in 2006 by Katie Powlen (1:57.88) and also won the 500 freestyle (5:31.12). Junior Drew Beland won the 200 individual medley (2:06.72) and the 100 backstroke (56.40). The backstroke win broke a school record of 56.54, which he shared with teammate Jon Batista and was set earlier this season. Batista won the 50 freestyle (24.50) and the 100 butterfly (59.49). Sophomore Kevin Shi won the 100 freestyle (54.50), senior Holly Pim won the 1 meter dive (136.58 points) and sophomore Isabelle Seppa won the 100 breaststroke (118.53) for Algonquin. The Tomahawks also swept the relays, with the 200 freestyle relay qualifying for the state meet.
