Doherty 45, Burncoat 44

Mitch Celaj hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Highlanders the win in a semiifinal game of the Hometeam Worcester City Tournament. Doherty will face St. Peter-Marian at 7 p.m. Friday at North High in a rematch of last year's final, won by the Highlanders. Youssef Fodaile had a game-high 24 points for Doherty, including 22 in the second half. Fodaile also found Celaj (10 points) for his fadeaway 3-point winner with a pass from midcourt while being double covered. AKeil Shakoor had 16 points for Burncoat, while Pat Sullivan finished with 10 for the Patriots.
