Ted Carey scatteres six hits and struck out 11 as the host Warriors (14-4) edged the No. 4 Naps (12-7). Matt Nichols was 2 for 3 with a run for Nipmuc, which scored two runs on wild pitches before Tom Sperino gave the hosts a 3-0 lead with a RBI single in the third. Josh Riley struck out 11 over six innings for Holy Name, and teammates Justin Gering (2 for 4) and Joe Caico each recorded a RBI.
