Holy Name 13, St. Bernard’s 0

Wednesday, Apr. 16, 2014, at Worcester

Senior Kelsey Saucier tossed a 1-hitter, striking out 13, and sophomore Danielle Rocheleau drove in five runs to spark the offense as the top-ranked Naps (3-0, 1-0 Central Mass. Conference) beat the visiting Bernardians (0-3, 0-2) in a mercy-rule shortened game. Rocheleau hit a bases-loaded triple to key a five-run first inning, then doubled home two runs in the third. Hailey Droogan singled in the fourth inning to break up the no-hitter for St. Bernard's.
