Junior Mia Bruno threw seven strikeouts and allowed just two runs in her varsity debut for the Spartans. Freshmen Lindsey Florent, Allison Mullins, Audrea Harrington, Sarah Cruz and Lauren Jackson all recorded their first varsity hits.
