Victoria Block, a member of the WHDH-TV, 7 NEWS staff for 9 years, is a general assignment reporter who has covered every topic from education to crime to politics. Block's reporting has taken her to Detroit to cover the Nancy Kerrigan/ Tonya Harding story; to Washington D.C.; New York; and even Germany to cover the release of hostage Frank Reed. Block spent a week in Weisbaden, where she obtained an exclusive interview with Mr. Reed.

Before jumping into TV, Block worked in radio for 8 years. She was a general assignment reporter and anchor at WHDH-RADIO where she covered breaking news stories. She has worked as a reporter and anchor at WJAR-RADIO and WEAN-RADIO, in Providence, Rhode Island.

Block is a graduate of the High School of Art and Design in New York City. She also studied at the school for the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and a graphics school in Zurich, Switzerland.
