A pretty bungalow in Revere that is less than a 10-minute walk to the beach and about seven minutes from Wonderland Station has hit the market for $394,900.

The two-bedroom, one-bathroom home at 72 Calumet St. is perfect for buyers looking to downsize, young professionals starting to build their real estate portfolios, or people hoping to find an affordable single-family home, said United Brokers agent Kevin Ochoa.

Ochoa described the home as a “condo alternative,” a single-family property that won’t break the bank.

“In this market, so many people have been discouraged to the point where they’re not even considering a single-family anymore, and they’ve narrowed their search to the point where they only think they can afford a condominium,” Ochoa said. “Sometimes my clients need that reminder that there are single-families that are affordable out there.”

The sunny yellow front door of the 904-square-foot home opens into a sleek living room with hardwood flooring and a wood accent wall. The space is part of an open layout, with a half wall delineating the living room from the eat-in kitchen.
