This century-old industrial building is becoming the 319A condos in Fort Point
319A Street is a 100-year-old, five-story brick building that was originally owned by the Boston Wharf Co. It has been turned into loft-style condos, keeping some exposed brick and barn-style doors.

Been dying to live in a place with more exposed brick and industrial-style windows? Now’s your chance – apartments at 319A Street are now available for presale.
Fort Point, a Boston community known for waterfront views, classy bars, and the prevalence of artist studios, was once a neighborhood of industrial buildings and warehouses.
319A Street is a 100-year-old, five-story brick building that was originally owned by the Boston Wharf Co. It has been turned into loft-style condos, keeping some exposed brick and barn-style doors, but not lacking in modern amenities such as granite countertops and polished chrome fixtures.

“The Fort Point Channel area is very special,’’ Curtis Kemeny, CEO of Boston Residential Group, the building’s owner, said in a statement. “It is an old neighborhood with a genuine industrial heart that was earned by the companies that were located here. This building – which was a leather shoe manufacturing company – has earned its soul.’’
The apartments will range from $450,000 for a studio to $1.3 million for a two-bedroom unit.
According to Boston Residential Group’s website, the retail floor of the building will include a “cutting edge’’ restaurant.
The units will be move-in ready by mid-2016.
