Millennium Tower tops the week — yet again — with three sales over $5 million

An address doesn't get much hotter than 1 Franklin St. -- aka Downtown Crossing's Millennium Tower -- is currently at, seeing multimillion dollar sales every week.

An address doesn’t get much hotter than 1 Franklin St., aka, Downtown Crossing’s Millennium Tower — it’s seeing multimillion dollar sales every week.

This week was especially big. 1 Franklin St., Unit 5503 sold for a whopping $5,750,000 on Monday. The three-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom, 2,773-square-foot unit is a corner condo with views of the Charles River, Beacon Hill, and the Financial District.

And that was nowhere near the end of the sales. Unit 5203 sold for $5,600,000 on September 23, Unit 4603 sold for $5,300,000 on Tuesday, Unit 4203 sold for $4,600,000 on Wednesday, and Unit 4104 sold for $4,100,000 on Tuesday.

Millennium Tower also saw some so-called smaller sales this week, including the sales of Unit 3810 for $3,250,000, Unit 4305 for $2,450,000, Unit 4105 for $2,400,000, all on September 23.

Despite the Millennium Tower takeover, Back Bay, Brookline, and Newton all had some big sales, as well.

244 Marlborough St., Unit 1, Back Bay, Boston

This newly completed luxury townhouse in Back Bay with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, two half bathrooms, and 3,300 square feet of living space just sold for $5,165,000 on Monday. It was renovated with top-of-the-line features, including crown moldings, soaring ceilings, hardwood floors, and large entertaining spaces. The white-clad kitchen contains a huge island and lots of cabinet space.

318 Mason Terrace, Brookline

This single-family home in Brookline with two unfinished spaces leaves room for the next owner to be creative. The 3,617-square-foot house has four bedrooms, five full bathrooms, a breakfast area, formal dining room, high ceilings, and private deck. It sold for $3,023,000 on September 29.

106 Waban Hill Rd., Newton

This Newton single-family home, which boasts a whopping seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, two half bathrooms, and 6,448 square feet of living space, sold for $2,825,000 on Wednesday. It’s a new construction, featuring a gourmet chef’s kitchen, a private patio and lawn, high ceilings, a dining room with built-ins, a finished lower level, and a heated two-car garage.
