Home sales ranged from townhouses in Boston proper to massive estates in Weston.
Here are the 10 most expensive single-family home sales of the year in the Boston area, according to data provided from home buying site, Realtor.com, ordered from the least expensive to most expensive.
2 Ledgewood Road, Winchester


Surrounded by a rolling landscape and built in 1928 in the classic Tudor style, this home has been upgraded over the past 15 years. It has seven bedrooms, four full bathrooms, three half bathrooms, and 5,723 square feet of living space. It sold for $5.9 million in February.
60 Meadowbrook Road, Weston


This Weston mansion sold for $6,458,000 in July. Its 12,107 square feet of living space include five en-suite bedrooms, a mahogany-paneled family room, a private movie theater, and a gym and wet bar on the lower level. The home is also located just a few minutes from a golf course.
19 Dartmouth St., Newton
