Nantucket estate on 63.79 acres back on market — for $35 million
The wood-shingle home has nine bedrooms and 9.5-baths in 10,266 square feet of living space.

Swain’s Neck, as it this 10,266-square-foot estate is called, has been on and off the market the past few years, with the asking price changing dramatically.
In May 2012, the home was listed for a whopping $59,000,000. Over the next couple of years, the home underwent a number of price decreases, dropping to its lowest in June 2016: $29,000,000. That listing was removed in January, but now it’s back.
260 Polpis Road was relisted for $35,000,000 on June 1. There is a winding driveway that leads up to the 63.79-acre estate, which is flanked by grass, wetlands, forests, fields, and, of course, the ocean. From the front of the house, you’ll notice gables, dormers, and farmer’s porches.
The wood-shingle home has nine bedrooms, 9.5-baths, and oh, did we mention ocean views? Take in that view from the two-story great room.
The estate also boasts a guest cottage, studio, and a gatehouse with a caretaker’s apartment. For all of your nautical necessities, there is a boathouse and two moorings.
