$6.8 million Seaport home tops our list of biggest sales

Other properties on our priciest sales list include a Weston Colonial, a Beacon Hill penthouse, and a Back Bay home.

Boston was well represented in our weekly tally of the priciest sales, taking three of the four spots. A modern three-bedroom home in a Seaport District high-rise topped our list with a $6,800,000 price tag, followed by a Weston Colonial on 3-plus acres that sold for $5,400,000. A Beacon Hill penthouse and a Back Bay home overlooking the Public Garden finish out our list, selling for $5,300,000 and $4,575,000 respectively.

This new three-bedroom, 3.5-bath home on an upper level of the 50 Liberty high-rise boasts views of the harbor and the city and an open floor plan, 10.5-foot-high ceilings, a wall of windows, and a terrace. The modern 2,788-square-foot unit sold on Wednesday for $6,800,000 and features hardwood floors and two master suites with marble baths. The property comes with two parking spots with charging stations, porter and 24-hour concierge services, conference room/lounge access, a fitness center, boat slips, and a storage room.

Set on 3.1 acres, this 10,500-square-foot Colonial sold for $5,400,000 million on Friday, July 27. This home has six bedrooms, eight full baths, and three half baths. This penthouse boasts a roof deck with State House views. The 3,672-square-foot duplex sold for $5,300,000 on Wednesday. The building dates to 1899. Other features include a five-piece marble bath in the master suite, a laundry room, built-ins, herringbone floors, pocket doors, and a parking space with a snow-melt system.
