That might be the case in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut — states with the highest percentage of $1 million dollar homes, according to Zillow.
In Massachusetts, there are 1,809,490 homes, and 63,256 of them are valued at $1 million and beyond.
In Rhode Island, out of 283,239 homes, 7,206 are worth more than a $1 million. In Connecticut, there are 50,436 that hit the $1 million mark.
Other states include: Washington, Colorado, New Jersey, New York, Washington, DC, California, and Hawaii. Hawaii is highest on the list, with around 11 percent of homes worth more than a $1 million.
