They may not spend as much time in the region as they used to, but Senator Mitt Romney, Republican of Utah, and his wife, Ann, will always be associated with Massachusetts. Now the family’s former home at 171 Marsh St. in the Belmont Hill neighborhood is available for rent come September, to the tune of $25,000 per month with a 12-month commitment. It’s also available on Airbnb for $1,500 per night and can be booked for private events, such as weddings.

The six-bed, six-and-a-half bath home, which tops 7,600 square feet, belonged to the Romney family until 2009. Originally built in 1930, the home has undergone several additions and renovations throughout the years. Tucked behind a wrought-iron fence on 2.5 rolling acres that border conservation land, the home boasts plenty of privacy, as it’s surrounded by beautiful, mature trees.

“It’s got a great vibe to it,” said Elizabeth O’Brien of Senné, the associate on the listing. “There’s a lot of cool features. The light coming in is phenomenal. There’s just so many windows and doors that it just streams in.”
