Gronk isn’t the GOAT, but rather, a rhinoceros.
Former Patriot and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski, whose nickname has inspired thousands of fans to name their beloved pups after him, has a different kind of infant fan. A zoo in Tampa, Florida, named a baby rhino after him, welcoming the Super Bowl champion into town.
Gronk, weighing in at nearly 600 pounds, is 5 months old and is “getting more and more confident each day,” ZooTampa tweeted, along with photos of the star.
On Friday, Gronk the person admired the “little” guy, wholesomely tweeting: “He is so handsome!”

The two Gronks actually go way back — to October 2020 — when they were able to meet over FaceTime. On the call, Gronkowski said, “I just wanna say it is an honor to meet you baby Gronk, and you are my new inspiration.”
