Welcome to #WalkOffCity
Aug. 1 – Comebacks were already a trend for the Red Sox when they played Mariners at Fenway Park on this warm, Thursday night at Fenway Park. Boston trailed 7-2 in a game that was started by Felix Hernandez before scoring six times in the bottom of the ninth for an 8-7 victory before a crowd of 35,886, most of whom had left long before it was over. Daniel Nava got things started with a walk and ended it with a bases-loaded blast to center field that drove in the winning run. After the game, Dustin Pedroia Tweeted the hashtag #WalkOffCity and Boston had another nickname.
