Brawl breaks out at FDNY/NYPD charity hockey game

A bench-clearing brawl broke out during Sunday’s annual hockey game between members of New York City’s fire and police departments. The matchup-turned-fistfight took place at the Nassau Coliseum, home of the NHL’s New York Islanders.

The Instagram clips below (from user kconn13) show some of the action.

The firefighters had won the last five matchups, but the police took this one, 8-5. h/t to Deadspin for spotting this.
