Kevan Miller comes to Torey Krug’s defense following crushing check
This hit had hangtime.
Four minutes into the first period of the Bruins’ game against the Philadelphia Flyers Wednesday night, Brayden Schenn locked his sights on Torey Krug deep in the Bruins zone, and delivered a devastating (and clean) hit perfectly framed between the Honda and NBC Sports signage. Krug got off his feet, then Schenn.

And quicker than you can say “5 minute major,’’ Krug’s defensive partner, Kevan Miller, was honed in on Schenn, ready to scrap.
Schenn’s fighting form was anything but smooth, and Miller was able to drop the Flyers center in under 10 seconds – right cross connected.
The Bruins went on to lose, 3-2.
