Bruins players were out in full force at the Red Sox game Saturday

Coach Bruce Cassidy predicted the Red Sox will dispatch the Astros in six games.

Even after scoring eight goals in a decisive win over the Red Wings on Saturday, the Bruins weren’t finished doing their part for the Boston sports scene.

Some of the players made their way to Fenway Park to watch the Red Sox take on the Astros in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series. They sported customized Red Sox jerseys with their own numbers, and it’s safe to assume they didn’t mind the cold as much as everyone else.

David Pastrnak, David Krejci, Brad Marchand, Zdeno Chara, Ryan Donato, Noel Acciari, and Matt Grzelcyk were among the players present.

“We all try to support each other, especially in the playoffs,” Krejci told reporters. “You always see when one team wins, they invite the other teams to hang out in the dressing room and invite them to the game. It’s pretty cool.”

The Bruins tweeted images of Jake DeBrusk holding up a J.D, Martinez jersey, showing support “from one J.D. to another,” and Pastrnak wearing a jersey himself, with the caption: “You’re up, Red Sox.”

The players weren’t the only ones showing some love. When asked what he thought would happen in the series, Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy’s answer didn’t leave any doubt.

“Red Sox in six,” he said.
