Thanksgiving is a time for people to give thanks for the things they’re grateful for, and Boston sports had a lot to be thankful for this year. Here’s are some of the things that local teams and athletes said they were thankful for on Thursday.

New England Patriots

The Patriots shared a mashup of some of the best Thanksgiving moments from Friends featuring some new cast members— Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman made cameos in these clips from the 1990s sitcom.

The Pats also highlighted some of their favorite Thanksgiving dishes, including not-so-common holiday delicacies such as deviled eggs and baked clams.

Julian Edelman

The Patriots wide receiver shared an Instagram video from his JE11 pop-up shop on Newbury Street in Boston, showing some appreciation for his fans. The pop-up shop opened in Boston last weekend for the third time, giving fans the chance to meet Edelman himself and buy authentic signed merchandise.

Zdeno Chara and the Boston Bruins

The Bruins captain continued the team’s annual tradition for the 10th year and spent his Thanksgiving delivering pies from Mike’s Pastry to local shelters in Boston.

Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox celebrated #Soxgiving on Thursday, giving thanks for their successful year on Twitter.

The team tweeted some things that they’re thankful for, including manager Alex Cora, Chris Sale’s recovery from his belly-button ailment, Andrew Benintendi’s game-saving catch and, of course, their fans.

Even Wally the Green Monster chimed in and gave thanks.
