Celtics, buzzer-beating 3-pointer stun the Heat in Miami

Jeff Green hit an incredible fadeaway 3-pointer at the buzzer that gave the Celtics an improbable 111-110 win against the Heat Saturday night before a stunned and silent crowd at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Above, Green reacted after his last-second shot went through the hoop.

Green finished with 24 points, none more important that the final three, which he watched win the game at the buzzer in the instant before it fell through the net.

Green was 5-8 on three-pointers Saturday night.

Celtics teammates mobbed Green while Heat stars Dwyane Wade and LeBron James walked off the court in disbelief.

At least one person in the mosty silent American Airlines Arena crowd was happy for Jeff Green’s game-winner.

LeBron James left the court seemingly emotionless after Jeff Green and the Celtics denied him and his team a win Satuirday night.

Green carried the team offensively but also pitched in defensively, as shown here guarding LeBron James, who barely missed recording another triple-double by two rebounds.

Green wasn’t alone on offense Saturday night. Avery Bradley helped pace the Celtics with 17 points of his own, including these two over the Heat’s Cris Andersen.

Jordan Crawford chipped in 15 points of his own to go along with four assists and two steals.

First-year Celtics’ head coach Brad Stevens gestured while speaking with Gerald Wallace, who in-bounded the game-winning assist.

Green drove to the basket as LeBron James attemted to defend.

The Celtics rejoiced from winning their past three games after dropping the season’s first four games.
