Celtics point guard Marcus Smart will be heading to Toronto for the NBA’s All-Star Weekend in Feburary. The second-year guard has been selected for a spot on the U.S. team in the Rising Stars Challenge.

Smart, 21, is averaging 9.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.7 steals per game this season. After missing 18 games with a knee injury during November and December, Smart notched his first career triple double on Jan. 15 against the Phoenix Suns.

The Rising Stars Challenge is a game comprised of players in their first or second season in the NBA. The game features a U.S. team, which contains players from the United States, and a World team with international rookies and sophomores.
