Devin Booker roasted Jae Crowder on Instagram after 70-point performance

"you can’t guard me.”

In a losing effort against the Celtics Friday night, Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker tallied 70 points, becoming the youngest player in NBA history to total more than 60 in a single game.

The 20-year-old also became just the sixth player ever to score 70 points, so the league naturally shared a celebratory Instagram post that paid homage to Wilt Chamberlain’s famous photo after his 100-point performance.

While the caption read a simple “70,” Celtics forward Jae Crowder had some words (which were later deleted) for Booker and the Suns in the comments.

“NEVER SEEN SO MANY GUYS HAPPY AFTER AN ‘L’,” wrote Crowder.

Booker fired back: “You can’t guard me.”

Crowder clapped back, clarifying in the comments that he wasn’t trying to take a personal shot at Booker: “I WAS TALKING BOUT THEM DUDES AROUND YOU. BUT ILL SEE YOU NEXT YR.!”
