The Celtics on Saturday officially signed forward Jarell Eddie to a 10-day contract. Eddie averaged 17.2 points per game and made 50.7 percent of his 3-pointers for the G-League’s Windy City Bulls this season.

He played in 26 games with the Wizards in the 2015-16 season and five games with the Suns last year, averaging 2.8 points per game over the two seasons. He had a very brief stint in Celtics training camp in 2014 before being waived.

“I remember I was excited,’’ Eddie said of his last stop in Boston. “I got picked up off waivers and I was really excited. And I thought, like, ‘OK, cool, I got another opportunity.’ And then a couple days later I wasn’t here. So it was real quick.’’
