David Ortiz wore an Al Horford jersey and his trademark smile to the TD Garden on Tuesday night.
The former Red Sox slugger sat courtside with Celtics’ co-owner Wyc Grousbeck for the Boston’s Game 2 matchup against the Cavaliers. Ortiz was spotted talking to Horford, his friend and fellow countryman, before tip-off. Ortiz, who once gave the Celtics center a huge assist on his wedding day in the Dominican Republic, also sent a message to LeBron James.
“LeBron, we’re coming to get you,” Ortiz said in an Instagram video. “We’re coming to get you. You know how we do it.”

Ortiz wasn’t the only Boston athlete in attendance on Tuesday. A contingent of Patriots players ringed the court as well.
