The most famous dog in Boston was at the marathon finish line today to cheer people on.
Harvard Dangerfield, the 11-year-old Samoyed, became Boston’s most beloved pooch when he and owner Dana Sullivan joined a group of dogs on the Boston Common two days after the 2013 Marathon to provide therapy for Bostonians affected by the bombing.
Harvard was back at the finish line this year, while other dogs sent good vibes from afar.
There was Catie Copley, the official dog of the Fairmont Copley Plaza.
And Wellington the Pug…
There was also some marathon love from Hamilton, seen here sending well wishes with a friend.
Human encouragement? Good. Canine encouragement? Even better.
